Other consultations

Other State or Local Government bodies, such as the Tasmanian Planning Commission or your local council, will at times invite you to have your say on planning matters that are within their authority to review.

For example, as part of the roll out of the Tasmanian Planning Scheme, every council is required to exhibit their draft Local Provisions Schedule and invite public comment (written representations) which the council must then consider.

The Tasmanian Planning Commission is an independent statutory authority with a number of roles including the assessment of major projects, reviewing reports and submissions on draft management plans, and considering and approving draft planning scheme amendments and combined permits.

Visit the websites for these other State or Local Government bodies for more information about any current consultations they are conducting.
