Scope

Invite public input on topics and issues the TPPs should cover

Draft

In collaboration with Local Government and peak industry bodies, State Agencies prepare the draft of the Tasmanian Planning Policies

Review

The independent Tasmanian Planning Commission reviews and makes recommendations on the draft Tasmanian Planning Policies which will include a public exhibition and hearing process

Finalise

Minister considers Tasmanian Planning Commission recommendations and finalises Tasmanian Planning Policies

Implement

Regional Land Use Strategies and Tasmanian Planning Scheme reviewed to be consistent with and effectively implement the Tasmanian Planning Policies
