Declaration of amended Cradle Coast Regional Land Use Strategy 2010 -2030

The Minister for Planning, after consultation with the Tasmanian Planning Commission, planning authorities in the Cradle Coast region and relevant State Service Agencies in accordance with section 5A(4) of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993 ( the LUPA Act), has declared an amended Cradle Coast Regional Land Use Strategy (CCRLUS).

The amended CCRLUS came into effect on 11 May 2022 with the declaration being notified in the Gazette:

The amendment comprises of a number of textual changes to the CCRLUS to provide greater recognition of King Island’s unique circumstances as a result of its economy, historical pattern of development and isolation.
