State Planning Office Work Program Update

The updated SPO work program is now available with indicative dates for engagement for the remainder of 2023 into 2024/25 for the Review of the State Planning Provisions and Phase 2 Planning Reforms.

The Phase 2 Planning Reforms commenced in 2021 and aim to deliver the following key components of the Tasmanian planning system:

introduction of the Tasmanian Planning Policies;
an improved regional land use planning framework; enabling
comprehensive reviews of the three regional land use strategies.
