Tasmanian Planning Commission publicly exhibits draft Panning Directive No. 11 - Application of Attenuation Code – King Island

The Tasmanian Planning Commission (the Commission) invites comments on the draft Planning Directive No. 11 - Application of Attenuation Code - King Island. The public exhibition runs from 11 October 2023 until 23 November 2023.

Draft Planning Directive No. 11 proposes to insert the Attenuation Code (as reflected in the State Planning Provisions) in the King Island Interim Planning Scheme 2013 and for it to spatially apply to an attenuation area for the Tungsten mine at Grassy, King Island.

Please note, the Minister for Planning has issued the related Interim Planning Directive No. 8 - Application of Attenuation Code - King Island, which was effective from 11 August 2023.
